Dtox spa I LOVE YOU. Such a great place. I treated my sister to a night at the spa tonight as a little congratulations for completing the marathon yesterday. She had a hot stone massage and mud bath and I had a warm sea algae body wrap. What a treat. I opted for the wrap since I’ve had a handful of massages and a facial recently so I figured I should try something new. I’m really glad I did. I had no idea a body wrap could be so relaxing. I totally dozed off once I was all wrapped up. I felt like a newborn baby who was being delicately bathed and then wrapped up in a blankie to be kept warm. Loved it. When I was done I hung out in the steam room for a bit while my sister finished up her mud bath, showered and then finished off with some hot tea and strawberries. Yum. The space is beautiful and everyone was really warm and friendly. We’ll definiltey be back. I haven’t felt this relaxed in a long long time. What a great way to start off the week.
